With around 1,000 participants from all over France and other countries (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, Morocco...), it is Europe's largest gathering of riders and drivers practising outdoor riding.
Discover the regions: gastronomy, tourism, culture, landscapes... Equirandins coming from all the French regions and Europe ride for a minimum of three days - several weeks, even several months - to find this festive gathering which puts outdoor riding and the French regions in the spotlight. With a horse, a mule or a donkey, mounted or harnessed, each one reaches the place of the festival, which changes at each edition.
Since the first edition in 1961, each edition has been organised by an Organising Committee from a different region.
The Equirando takes you to the discovery of the French regions: gastronomy, tourism, culture, landscapes...
Since the first edition in 1961, the organization is entrusted, for each edition, to an Organizing Committee of a different region. Open to all, beyond the borders, the Equirando is a real breath of fresh air.
