The 2022 edition of the Equirando took place the 29th, 30th and 31th of July in Rue in the Somme. An exceptionnal edition which gathered more than 950 Equirandins and 850 horses! Organised under the aegis of the FITE, this event gathered riders and drivers from different nations: Belgians, French, Germans, Spanish and Swiss.
On Saturday, riders explored a 24km equestrian loop starting from the village of Rue to discover the rich landscapes of the Baie de Somme.
A rich programme of events
A multicultural gathering that also attracted the interest of the public, as the event succeeded in gathering more than 10,000 spectators!
Riders, drivers, companions and spectators attented for three days the various activities of the event. As every year, the Equirandins costume parade allowed riders to showcase their country and region. The parade was followed by an equestrian show and a gala dinner which amazed the Equirandins.
The last day was an opportunity for the host region to showcase its local breed: the Henson horse. A great presentation that closed this edition, which managed to remobilise the regulars and attract new participants to celebrate this 54th edition.
