The European Working Equitation Championships will be held from September 21 to 24, 2023, in San Zeno (Arezzo), Italy.

The FITE TREC Committee and Working Equitation Committee worked at the end of 2022 on the regulatory changes for these two disciplines, applicable from 1 January 2023.

In Working Equitation, on the proposal of the WE Committee and the Technical Delegate, the FITE Board of Directors has approved the creation of the "Juniors" category. This is an extension of the success of the creation of this same category for TREC as well as the will of the FITE Board of directors to take into consideration the young people. For this category, two-handed riding will be mandatory. This category will be implemented during the 2023 Championships.
