Get ready to push your limits! The renowed Raid du Centaure is back for another edition. Under the auspices of the FITE, the CDTE of Isère is organising the race and will be delighted to welcome you to Roybon (38940), in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, on 20, 21 and 22 February 2026.
For the 2026 edition, the CDTE of Isère presents a challenging course for horse and rider pairs. The chosen terrain, featuring dense forests, steep hills, and numerous trails, is ideal for testing their abilities. Scheduled for late February, the event's technical difficulty will be further enhanced by the high probability of snow and harsh weather conditions.
The Raid du Centaure is not just a race; this Orientation and Regularity Course is covering approximately 100 kilometres, starting at night. It demands a strong sense of direction and excellent map-reading skills. Riders can participate solo, in pairs, or in teams of up to four.

If you are a foreign rider and would like to participate, please do not hesitate to contact the organiser. Documents in English or Spanish are available on request.
The organisation also offers to assist you in finding horses if required.
