Following the General Assembly of 11 September 2020, FITE welcomes two new members: Kazakhstan as associate member and Saudi Arabia as NETO. FITE welcomes them and hopes that these memberships will strengthen and develop exchanges and sharing between all members around equestrian tourism and the disciplines covered by FITE.
Kazakhstan
The horse is very ingrained in Kazakh culture. The NETO is working on the development of equestrian tourism routes retracing those of the nomadic peoples and through the Kazakh steppes.
It wishes a framework and regulation in the practice of the FITE disciplines, in particular for the riding of work and archery on horseback which he wishes to develop.
L’Arabie Saoudite
Saudi Arabia wishes to develop equestrian activities and in particular equestrian tourism. With the desire to reach world standards, it is positioning itself as a tourist destination, thanks to the assets of the country's natural heritage.
