Tribute to Michel Hebette
It is with great sadness that we've heard Michel HEBETTE 's passing, on January 7th, 2020.
TREC family is grieving after Mr. Hebette's passing. He was a pioneer for Belgian TREC. He also was one of the oldest Belgian TREC judges and was a very important figure for this discipline in his country. Michel was one of those who developed TREC in Belgium by the end of the '90s. He was an international judge since 2001, year of the World Championships in Vielsalm (Belgium). Regularly in Belgian championships, he used to offer his help to international and European championships' organiser. Retired for about 10 years, he kept on plying roads together with his wife who also is a TREC judge, in order to join international competitions.
We wish to commend his faultless commitment and his devotion for TREC and more widely the interest of horse-riding. His goodwill, humour and good temper will be missed. The FITE expresses its sincere condolences and its deepest sympathy to his close relatives.
